Note, the entire tutorial from start to finish will be available as a single zip file when it is complete, it will include all source html, css, PSD/Images etc.
So here we are, the last stage in the intial design process. The next phase we can finally dive right into the SharePoint side.
This section – Initial Site Creation – Setting the stage w/ SharePoint in mind is simply cutting up your comps, putting the HTML, CSS etc. together and forming some semblence of a website.
In an effort to speed things up a little I have commented the HTML to show exactly what will go where.
That’s what I meant when I said “Keeping SharePoint in Mind”. It will describe what types of dynamic SharePoint elements are going to go where.
To those that have been bored with the intial sections my apologies but I still strongly believe going from start to finish is the best way.
The next installment we will dive right into SharePoint and getting this sucker together.
As you can see this is the site we’re going to be creating in SharePoint.
In another effort to save time I have not done “Sub-Pages”. We will go under the assumption that if you can do one page you can do 500.
