Keeping yourself safe

Something that we all do on a daily basis is use ctrl-c to copy information, it could be a joke but it could also be a credit card number, or an excerpt from a confidential document. In the even that it is something important you may want to clear the clipboard prior to roaming the net, browsing sites.

I dont know how much validity this has but apparently you can capture this information fairly easy.

Something to think about the next time you copy and paste your credit card number and then decide to roam frivolously around the internet.

Don’t take my word for it though, select some text from this email and hit ctrl-c (or use copy). Then visit:

Want an easy way to avoid it ever happening? Use this as your start page: (it clears your clipboard)
